REPORT ON RESCUE & REHABILITATION OF MUKHTAR MASIH AND FAMILY:

Praise the Lord, a successful rescue and rehabilitation was carried out by our ministry team to liberate the family of Mukhtar Masih; slaves from a brick factory. Upon arriving at the factory today, we immediately informed the family of their newfound freedom and requested them to cease working.

We get them to the brick kiln manager's office. After examining the loan records, we determined the amount of debt the family owed and promptly paid it off. We then went to brick kiln quarters and assisted the family in packing their belongings and moved them to a new rental home that we provided. We covered their rent for the next one month and provided them with ration/food items for one month as a means of supporting their transition to a life of independence.

The released family were so excited about their freedom and they praised Jesus and they were so much thankful to the donor for great help. In addition to this, we provided the family with a motorbike rickshaw as a means of starting a small business and furthering their prospects of long-term success. We are grateful to God for having played a role in helping this family establish a new life free from the shackles of slavery.

Our organization remains committed to the ongoing fight against slavery and ensuring the safety and freedom of all people. We will continue to work tirelessly to eradicate this heinous practice and offer support to those who have been victimized by it.
